Overview
Itinerary:
Our driver will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel around 4 am(available to change). Drive for about 3 to 4 hours to Abu Simbel Temples.
Arrive to Abu Simbel; where you will meet your guide who will be waiting for you there to explain to you the history of the two temples built by the great pharaoh Ramesses 2nd big one for himself and smaller for his main wife queen Nefertari; hewn out of the rock as a symbol of his superiority over Egypt’s traditional Nubian foe. Abu Simbel complex is not only the most unusual in the whole of Egypt, but also represents the success of the Egyptian government and UNESO to save the Nubian temples from the rising of the water of lake Naser after building the high dam in 1960. Your tour guide will give you some free time to explore the two temples from inside as no guiding inside.
Finally, drive back for another 4 hours to Aswan then you will be transferred to your Aswan east bank hotel or cruise.
