Overview
Sail down the Nile River to visit temples and tombs from Luxor to Aswan on a 4-day 3-night – 5 star ‘luxury Nile Cruise. See the highlights of Luxor and Aswan with your own private guide and vehicle; admire the temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo. Enjoy a magnificent trip to the beautiful temples of Abu Simbel 285 Km south of Aswan, sharing a small group. Enjoy comfortable pickup and drop off at your hotel, airport or train station. Available every; Saturday, Monday or Thursday from Luxor to Aswan.
Notes:
-Arrival time on the first day should be before 12:01 pm.
-The tour ends in Luxor on the last day around 3:30 to 4:30 pm, so evening departure is recommended.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer to Nile Cruise and Luxor East Bank
Our representative will pick you up from your (hotel in east bank Luxor – train station or from Luxor airport) to transfer to the Nile Cruise to check in and have your lunch.
At 3 pm, meet your Egyptologist guide to start your interesting tour by air conditioned vehicle to visit the east bank where the impressive Karnak temple which dedicated to the triad of Thebes (ancient name of Luxor) To God Amon Ra, his wife goddess Mut and their son god Khonsu God of the moon. This temple was built by several Kings as a kind of offering to God Amun Ra the main god at that time, so the temple is complicated on its plan. At the temple you will see the majesty of the ancient Egyptians throughout erecting the Hypostyle Hall which contains 134 columns arranged in rows
The next stop will be at Luxor temple which is situated at down town of Luxor and built by King Amenhotep III who ruled Egypt during the New Kingdom. Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Then back to the cruise overnight in Luxor
Note: If your arrival to Luxor is so early, so we will start the tour directly upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don’t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank Tour and Sailing
After enjoying your breakfast on board, your qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up to visit the west bank which called the city of the dead where the ancient Egyptians built their tombs. you will stop at the valley of the kings to visit three tombs and explore the cleverness of the ancient Egyptian artists and the shining colors
Then moving towards the temple of queen Hatshepsut, your guide will explain how she reached to the throne, her divine birth and her struggle against King Thutmose the third. The next stop will be at Colossi of Memnon, the two huge statues of King Amenhotep III and taking some lovely pictures. Transfer back on board, enjoy your Lunch and sailing to Edfu city, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Day 3: Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple and arrive Aswan
After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Day 4: Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a group), Philae temple and Departure transfer
Check out around 4 to 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a group in a bus or minibus), to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari.
Back to the cruise round 1:30 to 2 pm to pick your luggage be ready to discover with your guide the Philae temple; the Greco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there.
Later on, You will be transferred to your Aswan east bank hotel, Airport or railway station.

- A child from 5 to 11 years old accompanied by one adult will be treated as an adult.

- Prices are quoted in U.S dollars per person per trip and valid, except during Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays (150$ per person per night will be charged as extra supplement for these Holidays).

- Sometimes due to sailing conditions on the River Nile, Nile Cruises itineraries schedule and sailing time maybe updated. We assure that our clients will see all what is on their itineraries but maybe in different order.
- Camera is not allowed for the balloon trip, but you can use your cellphone to take pictures.
- If the balloon cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ per person.
- If Abu Simbel Trip cancelled due to bad weather, you will be refunded with 30$ per person.
- It is available to pick travelers from Luxor west bank hotels with extra 10$ USD per person.
- It is available to drop off travelers at their Hotels in Aswan west bank with extra 10$ USD per person
- You will need to pay all the entrance fees by card except the High Dam and motorboat to Philae temple in cash.
- If you want to have your own room, then you need to book for a single person.
- If you are traveling in a group of 3 people, you will enjoy one triple room.
- If you are travelling in a group and wanted to have your own room, then do a separate booking for a single person.
- Passports copies are required for the cruise line company, Abu Simbel and Hot air balloon trip permissions.
- It is available to provide an Italian, Japanese, German or French tour guide with extra 200$ USD per person upon your request.
