Itinerary:
Day 1: Luxor West Banks Tour
Our Egyptology tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor around 8 am. Start your day by driving for about 30 minutes to the west bank.
Drive for about 35 minutes to The Valley of the kings. Have a great time exploring with your guide the tombs of the Pharos from The New Kingdom. Listen to The stories and secrets of the kings who carved their tombs in the rock aiming to hide their mummies and treasures. Guides are not permitted inside the tombs, but your guide will tell you what to look for inside the elaborately decorated rooms.
Continue to The magnificent temple of the only female Pharaoh Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt and knew how she managed to rule Egypt for about 22 years. There is free time to explore at your leisure as you wander the large courtyards and admire the intricate hieroglyphic decorations.
Stop for 10 minutes to take nice photos in front of the two-17 meters statues of King Amenhotep III from The 18th Dynasty, Colossi of Memnon, which mark the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. These two giant statues standing tall and proud on the West Bank are all that remain of the ancient complex.
Stop for lunch (optional). Then, proceed to visit Karnak temple, the biggest temple in The whole world. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. he deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Walking through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall, it’s hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. At the rear of the complex you will find the sacred lake where centuries ago pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. After a tour of the complex, you will have additional free time to explore at leisure.
End your tour by visiting Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amon-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. There you will see the granite statues of Ramses the Great. These ancient temples are a must-see for Luxor travelers.
At the end, transfer back to your hotel in Luxor for overnight.

Day 2: Hot air balloon ride and East Bank tour
Start your lifetime Experience over the famous monuments of the open air museum city Luxor for about 30 to 40 minutes.
At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel to have your breakfast and meet your tour guide.
At the end, transfer back to your hotel in Luxor.
