Overview
Itinerary:
This morning, our driver will pick you up around 5:00 am (available to change) by an air-conditioned car from your hotel in Luxor east bank, to hit the agriculture road to Edfu. Drive for about 2-3 hours and enjoy the scenery and views of the Nile and Egyptian villages along the road.
Arrive at Edfu to meet your guide to visit the majestic temple of the God Horus; built during the Ptolemaic Period, located on the west bank of the River Nile, which considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples.
Proceed to drive south of Edfu for about 1and a half hour to visit the unusual double temple built on the honor of the two deities, Sobek; the crocodile god and Horus; the falcon god, enjoy the scene of the ancient Egyptian calendar and the relief of the Medical Instruments on its walls. Don’t miss the crocodile museum in your way out to see dozens of mummified crocodiles.
Then, travel in comfort back to your hotel in Luxor east bank..
