Itinerary:

Day 1: Cairo Arrival Transfer and Overnight in Cairo or Giza Hotel

Welcome to the timeless land of the pharaohs! You’ll be met on arrival at Cairo airport by our driver, who will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall, holding a sign with your name and transferred to to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show(optional), or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show(optional).

Day 2: Day Tour to Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum GEM

This morning, your private guide and driver will pick up you for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum GEM. Start by visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind. Enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You’ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general.

Step into a world where history comes alive as you explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, a monumental tribute to Egypt’s past and a gateway to its future. The Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the GEM, stands as a beacon of Egypt’s rich heritage and cultural legacy. This architectural marvel is set to house an unparalleled collection of artifacts and treasures, providing a comprehensive journey through the millennia of Egyptian civilization.

Back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza for overnight.

Day 2: Morning flight to Luxor, Tour to Luxor Highlights and Overnight in Aswan

Egypt Lifetime Tours driver will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza around 4:30 am (available to change subject to the flight schedule) to transfer to Cairo airport to take your morning flight to Luxor. You will need to use the flight tickets, we sent you via WhatsApp or email to check in and get your boarding card at Cairo airport. Once your arrive at Luxor airport and pick your luggage, go outside through the exit door where you will find our guide holding a sign with your name to start your remarkable day by driving for about 30 to 40 minutes to the west bank of Luxor.

Your first destination of the day will be the Valley of the Kings, a famous necropolis that has the tombs of the kings of ancient Egypt. Travel next to the amazing temple of Hatshepsut, who was the first woman to rule over Egypt. This temple was used as a monastery in the Christian era. This is why it is also famous as El Deir Al Bahri, or Northern Monastery’.

Your last stop on the west bank of Luxor will be the gigantic Colossi of Memnon. These two, 18 m-high statues are the only remaining items of the temple of Amenhotep III.

Stop for lunch break (optional), then continue to the east bank where you will visit the massive temple of Karnak complex, part of the ancient city of Thebes. Dedicated to the powerful God Amon, it offers a vast mix of temples, chapels, statues and obelisks. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long Sphinx lined avenue. The much photographed Hypostyle Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.

Proceed, to the smaller Luxor Temple, which is in the center of town. Admire its beautiful Obelisks and Statues of King Ramesses the Great.

Then, you will be transferred to Luxor train-station to take your 6:45 pm First Class Sitting train to Aswan. Arrive at Aswan after about 3 hours, to be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Aswan for overnight.

Day 3: Abu Simbel (sharing a group) Philae temple and flight back to Cairo

Around 4 to 4:30 am, you will be picked up by an air-conditioned vehicle (sharing a group in a bus or minibus) for your visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Abu Simbel. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded. Drive for about 3 hours, to be met by your Egyptology guide; who will escort you to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, telling you the stories and the history of the iconic sights of ancient Egypt.
Return to Aswan for lunch break (optional), then continue sightseeing in Aswan. Visiting the most beautiful temple of Egypt on Philae Island, the Temple of Isis, that was saved from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

Then, to Aswan Airport to take your evening flight back to Cairo, met and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 5: Tour to Cairo Citadel, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Our Egyptology guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza on time. Drive to Old Cairo that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family; where the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The first stop will be the Hanging Church, named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, which is one of the oldest churches in the world. Then you will get inside the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, where you will know more about the birth of Moses and Hebrew Culture and tradition. Enter the Church of Abu Sergah (St. Sergious), the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. Also there you will have a chance to visit St. Barbara Church.

Continue, towards the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill Al Moqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. Step inside the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali; built inside the castle in the 19th century. Take special photos from the Citadel panorama. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murdered Mameluke leaders in Qasr El Gawhara palace, and it’s not currently opened for visits

Khan el-Khalili is one of the world’s largest bazaars, and offers a truly authentic local Cairo experience. Among the world’s oldest bazaars, dating back to 1382, Khan el-Khalili offers an experience unique to the old streets of Islamic Cairo, and affords the opportunity to engage with locals, as locals do, hunting for bargains and relaxing with a coffee as the hustle of the bazaar passes you by. The numerous shops in this district are known for trading fine brass ware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and much more.
Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Day 6: Free Day and Departure Transfer

Today is free to join any other optional sightseeing tours of Cairo or a spot of last minute shopping until we take you back to the airport for your departure flight. If you have an evening flight, then the Cairo City Tour, Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis tours can also be done today. Alternatively if you can add extra nights to your time in Cairo you can take a day trip to the colonial city of Alexandria which lies on the Mediterranean coast.

Our representative will escort you to the airport for departure according to your flight details.
